Using Stretch
Stretch is a very involved program, but the interaction with the user has been simplified to make this package as effective as possible.
Just pick your preferred options, click the Flash Button when your eyes are attenuated over the entire Flash Box, type what was flashed at you into the Answer Box, and click the Answer Button. What could be easier?

Stretch 2004 features lots of room for your abilities to grow into, and keeps configuration data on another tab. The Mentor keeps an eye on your progress and occasionally raises the standard to keep pace with your progress. The process of Stretching your BIP through flash reading is very simple.
When you click the Flash Button:

A shadow appears to prepare your eyes for the stretch in attenuation required over the target zone. This is initially necessary when alterations to attenuation (a zone of diffused focus) are unfamiliar and the feature can be turned off if desired.

The phrase flashes for a moment and then disappears forcing you to take the phrase in as a whole instead of reading it character by character or word by word. The transition from character by character reading to word and phrase recognition has a phenomenal impact on reading speed, and phrase recognition is universally recognised as the key to speed reading.

You then type in what you read, and hit the answer button to receive an assessment of your answer's accuracy and a score.

Note the Performance and Hall of Fame Tabs. Here you will find a record of your performance. Go on, take the challenge; make your mark!
